Registration runs 1 Nov – 14 Nov. Voting opens 15 Nov and runs in rounds until 31 Dec. There's no voting or ranking during registration.

Our team reviews every entry, usually within 24 hours. You'll get an email when your baby is selected, and the baby's page goes live. If a photo isn't suitable, the email tells you why and you can enter again.

Babies under 2 years old on the day of entry, entered by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+ who lives in India.

Open a baby's page, tap Vote, and verify your email (or mobile number) with a one-time code. You only verify once on each device. Votes from accounts created in the last 24 hours can take up to a day to show in the count.

Once per baby, every day. Your votes renew at midnight IST. You can vote for as many different babies as you like.

Yes, with your own free daily vote, just like everyone else.

When available, you'll see a button on a baby's page to watch a short video. Watch it to the end and the baby gets a bonus vote. There's a daily limit per baby and per person, and it resets at midnight IST.

Babies are placed in groups of up to 40. You only compete with babies in your group until the semifinal. Every group's full standings and vote counts are public.

In the group rounds (Top 20, Top 10, Group final), yes. From the Second chance round onward, votes reset to zero each round. See the schedule.

Yes: your baby's page in My babies shows votes per day, recent votes and top supporters. Voters choose whether to show their name, so some votes show as 'A supporter'. Phone numbers are never shown.

They're shown only on your baby's page and share card for this season. Delete the entry anytime and the photos are erased immediately. We remove location data from every photo.

One verified inbox or number = one voter. It stops bots and fake accounts, so every family competes fairly. Parents also give a mobile number when entering, and we verify it for finalists before any prize is awarded.

By bank transfer to the parent or guardian after we verify the baby's age and guardianship.

No. Only votes cast on babyoftheyear.in count, and we never contact families offering votes. Using outside vote services can get a baby disqualified. Please report it.
